The 7th annual Elite Basketball Camp took place August 12-15 in Bergen, Norway, bringing 78 basketball players from all over Norway to train with NBA and Norwegian coaches, as well as current collegiate and professional players. The camp, a partnership between Showcase Basketball and Bergen Elite, provides high level training and a one-of-a-kind experience for Norwegan basketball players by bringing in NBA coaches to work first-hand with the players.
Multiple teams have been represented over the course of the 7 years the camp has been in existence. This year's guest coaches include the Los Angeles Clipper's Dave Severns, Dallas Maverick's Mike Weiner, and Showcase Basketball's Jeff Christensen. In addition, the 2019 camp was a first for non-coaching NBA personnel. Jacob Gonzalez, team photographer most recently for the Los Angeles Clippers and Sacramento Kings, captured the entire event and provided NBA quality photography for all those in attendance.
The 2020 Elite Basketball Camp is setting up to be the best one yet! We can't wait for our 8th annual trip to beautiful Bergen, Norway!
