Greg Minor brings experience as a player in the NBA, as well as coaching knowledge from the NBA G-League and China!
Showcase Basketball is proud to announce Greg Minor will be joining the staff, bringing a wealth of knowledge for all of our players to learn from. Coach Minor played 5 seasons with the Boston Celtics after completing a prestigious playing career at the University of Louisville. With the Celtics in 1996, Greg had his finest season, starting the majority of the season, averaging 9 PPG, 3 RPG, 2 APG, and finishing 3rd in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
Since completing his playing career, Coach Minor has coached extensively in the NBA G-League, developing talent with the Tulsa 66ers, Bakersfield Jam, and Canton Charge. Most recently Coach Minor was in China working with players in one of the top basketball countries outside the USA.
We are honored at Showcase Basketball to have another great basketball mind, but more importantly, another terrific person, for all of our players to learn from. We look forward to Coach Minor helping us in our pursuit of developing great basketball players and even better people!
