Showcase Basketball is very excited to announce the addition of Brandon Boyd to its coaching staff! Brandon grew up in Valencia and played his high school basketball at Alemany High School. He began his college basketball career at Idaho State University (NCAA D1) where he was twice named All-Big Sky Honorable Mention and scored over 1,000 points. Brandon transferred to finish his career at Cal Baptist University (NCAA D1) where he was named the Western Athletic Conference's Newcomer of the Year.
Brandon is still playing professional basketball in Latin America and Showcase is thrilled to have him working with the kids while he is in Los Angeles during the off-season. With Showcase Basketball, Coach Boyd will be involved in all aspects of the program. His high level experience and terrific character will be valuable assets for our Showcase players to learn from.
