Even with complications and restrictions due to Covid-19, Showcase Basketball was able to operate 4 sessions of the Triple Double Basketball Camp, 3 of which sold out! Ensuring the safety of each participant and following LA County / State of California guidelines, camps looked a little different, but still provided plenty of development and a great experience for everyone involved.
To prevent the spread of Covid-19 and ensure the safety of everyone involved, all campers were required to wear a mask and maintain 6 feet of distance from others at all times. In addition, the camps were moved outdoors and skill development contests replaced live games. However, even with all of the restrictions, the response has been overwhelmingly positive, with the kids really enjoying their experience and making new friends throughout each week. Each participant received product from Twelve, including a camp basketball, shirt, water bottle, camp certificate, and gatorade, in addition to the high level instruction in a fun and positive setting!
Showcase Basketball's next camp sessions will be the Holiday Hoops Camps over winter break, taking place in Burbank and Glendale. We look forward to seeing you there!
